As our garden begins to take shape I thought it was about time to start investigating a new home vegetable garden. The main reason is that with a new bub on the way I thought it would a great experience for the children to learn how to grow their own vegetables.
A home vegetable garden has a number of benefits. The children learn the discipline and hard work that is required to see a project through to the end and meet their goals. We as a family get to eat great tasting, fresh fruit and vegetables. In fact, much of the food that I've grown at home over the last few years have tasted and looked so much better than the fruit and vegetable that I can buy at the supermarket.
