This time of year its getting colder in our home. We went shopping for a new heater the other day and all the options just made us confused so we went away to think about it before we settle on something new. However, I did find a type of heating system that I've never seen before: fireplace heaters. Apparently, these heaters fit into a fireplace and use electricity to heat up the room just like an electric heater. However, they look just like a real fireplace and some actually have fake flames.
There not something that I'll be buying in a hurry. As we rent, I'm looking portable heaters that we can take with us when we leave. Unfortunately, not many portable heaters can actually heat up a large room which is what we are searching for.
